Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Friday, as losses in the Personal & Household Goods, Oil & Gas and Consumer Goods sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 lost 1.12% to hit a new 6-months low.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were TDC A/S (CO:TDC), which rose 0.39% or 0.15 points to trade at 38.81 at the close. Meanwhile, Danske Bank A/S (CO:DANSKE) added 0.15% or 0.3 points to end at 197.8 and Lundbeck A/S (CO:LUN) was up 0.05% or 0.1 points to 216.8 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were A.P. Moller - Maersk A (CO:MAERSKa), which fell 2.29% or 215 points to trade at 9155 at the close. Pandora A/S (CO:PNDORA) declined 2.18% or 17.5 points to end at 785.0 and Carlsberg A/S B (CO:CARLb) was down 2.16% or 13.5 points to 610.5.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 107 to 34 and 17 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for November delivery was down 1.63% or 0.82 to $49.62 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in December fell 1.83% or 0.96 to hit $51.55 a barrel, while the December Gold contract fell 0.11% or 1.35 to trade at $1251.65 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.04% to 6.6710, while EUR/DKK fell 0.00% to 7.4411.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.19% at 96.84.
