Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Friday, as losses in the Chemicals, Personal & Household Goods and Software & Computer Services sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 fell 1.01% to hit a new 3-months low.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were TDC A/S (CO:TDC), which rose 5.14% or 1.54 points to trade at 31.49 at the close. Meanwhile, A.P. Moller - Maersk A (CO:MAERSKa) added 2.23% or 190 points to end at 8715 and A.P. Moller - Maersk B (CO:MAERSKb) was up 1.31% or 115 points to 8890 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Genmab (CO:GEN), which fell 6.37% or 51.0 points to trade at 750.0 at the close. Pandora A/S (CO:PNDORA) declined 4.12% or 37.5 points to end at 872.5 and Nordea Bank AB (CO:NDA) was down 2.39% or 1.60 points to 65.35.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 92 to 52 and 18 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for March delivery was down 1.21% or 0.39 to $31.34 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in April fell 0.46% or 0.16 to hit $34.30 a barrel, while the April Gold contract fell 0.02% or 0.20 to trade at $1157.30 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.65% to 6.7025, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.00% to 7.4634.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.64% at 97.13.
