Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the Healthcare, Consumer Goods and Consumer Services sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 declined 0.69%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were TDC A/S (COP:TDC), which rose 3.29% or 1.61 points to trade at 50.50 at the close. Meanwhile, Genmab (COP:GEN) added 2.84% or 16.5 points to end at 598.5 and Chr. Hansen Holding A/S (COP:CHRH) was up 2.54% or 8.3 points to 334.6 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Novo Nordisk B (COP:NOVOb), which fell 1.93% or 7.6 points to trade at 386.5 at the close. Carlsberg A/S B (COP:CARLb) declined 1.23% or 8.0 points to end at 640.0 and FLSmidth & Co. (COP:FLS) was down 0.97% or 3.3 points to 338.0.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 81 to 81 and 3 ended unchanged.
Shares in Genmab (COP:GEN) rose to all time highs; rising 2.84% or 16.5 to 598.5.
Crude oil for July delivery was down 1.03% or 0.59 to $56.92 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in July rose 0.12% or 0.07 to hit $62.13 a barrel, while the August Gold contract rose 0.12% or 1.40 to trade at $1187.90 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.10% to 6.8327, while EUR/DKK rose 0.02% to 7.4592.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.04% at 97.38.
