Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the Industrials, Consumer Services and Real Estate sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 fell 0.67%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Chr. Hansen Holding A/S (CO:CHRH), which rose 0.41% or 1.6 points to trade at 396.3 at the close. Meanwhile, Novo Nordisk A/S B (CO:NOVOb) fell 0.20% or 0.6 points to end at 296.2 and Coloplast A/S (CO:COLOb) was down 0.39% or 2.0 points to 512.5 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were A.P. Moller - Maersk B (CO:MAERSKb), which fell 2.28% or 225 points to trade at 9655 at the close. A.P. Moller - Maersk A (CO:MAERSKa) declined 1.75% or 165 points to end at 9255 and Nordea Bank AB (CO:NDA) was down 1.74% or 1.15 points to 65.05.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 108 to 36 and 17 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for November delivery was up 3.48% or 1.55 to $46.03 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in December rose 3.16% or 1.47 to hit $47.95 a barrel, while the December Gold contract rose 0.16% or 2.15 to trade at $1343.85 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.28% to 6.6212, while EUR/DKK fell 0.03% to 7.4517.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.22% at 95.20.
