Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Healthcare, Real Estate and Personal & Household Goods sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 declined 0.51%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CO:VWS), which rose 2.20% or 10.0 points to trade at 464.2 at the close. Meanwhile, FLSmidth & Co. (CO:FLS) added 0.42% or 1.1 points to end at 264.6 and Danske Bank A/S (CO:DANSKE) was up 0.34% or 0.6 points to 177.7 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Novozymes A/S B (CO:NZYMb), which fell 2.13% or 6.9 points to trade at 317.3 at the close. GN Store Nord (CO:GN) declined 1.26% or 1.6 points to end at 125.2 and Lundbeck A/S (CO:LUN) was down 1.16% or 3.2 points to 273.3.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 83 to 57 and 23 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for September delivery was up 4.13% or 1.63 to $41.14 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in October rose 3.92% or 1.64 to hit $43.44 a barrel, while the December Gold contract fell 0.57% or 7.85 to trade at $1364.75 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.65% to 6.6705, while EUR/DKK fell 0.01% to 7.4378.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.49% at 95.49.
