Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the Chemicals, Industrials and Real Estate sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 fell 0.46%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Genmab (COP:GEN), which rose 0.54% or 3.5 points to trade at 647.5 at the close. Meanwhile, Jyske Bank A/S (COP:JYSK) added 0.26% or 1.0 points to end at 383.1 and Chr. Hansen Holding A/S (COP:CHRH) was up 0.26% or 0.9 points to 353.6 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were TDC A/S (COP:TDC), which fell 3.13% or 1.31 points to trade at 40.60 at the close. FLSmidth & Co. (COP:FLS) declined 2.24% or 5.5 points to end at 240.5 and A.P. Moller - Maersk B (COP:MAERSKb) was down 1.69% or 190 points to 11060.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 105 to 49 and 5 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for October delivery was up 2.65% or 1.17 to $45.32 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in October rose 1.75% or 0.83 to hit $48.41 a barrel, while the December Gold contract rose 0.76% or 8.40 to trade at $1110.40 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.49% to 6.6253, while EUR/DKK rose 0.01% to 7.4617.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.38% at 95.60.
