Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the Healthcare, Software & Computer Services and Technology sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 lost 0.38%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were FLSmidth & Co. (CO:FLS), which rose 3.48% or 8.7 points to trade at 259.0 at the close. Meanwhile, Jyske Bank A/S (CO:JYSK) added 2.49% or 7.9 points to end at 325.0 and Danske Bank A/S (CO:DANSKE) was up 1.80% or 3.5 points to 197.5 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Coloplast A/S (CO:COLOb), which fell 2.87% or 14.6 points to trade at 493.9 at the close. Chr. Hansen Holding A/S (CO:CHRH) declined 1.55% or 6.2 points to end at 394.0 and Novo Nordisk A/S B (CO:NOVOb) was down 1.51% or 4.2 points to 273.5.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 74 to 61 and 22 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for November delivery was up 0.94% or 0.47 to $50.30 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in December rose 1.12% or 0.58 to hit $52.44 a barrel, while the December Gold contract fell 1.01% or 12.85 to trade at $1255.75 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.38% to 6.6664, while EUR/DKK rose 0.00% to 7.4409.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.45% at 96.56.
