Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Consumer Goods, Financials and Healthcare sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 declined 0.33%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were DSV (CO:DSV), which rose 2.36% or 6.5 points to trade at 282.3 at the close. Meanwhile, GN Store Nord (CO:GN) added 0.23% or 0.3 points to end at 129.4 and Genmab (CO:GEN) was up 0.20% or 2.0 points to 1000.0 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Carlsberg A/S B (CO:CARLb), which fell 2.90% or 18.5 points to trade at 619.5 at the close. Jyske Bank A/S (CO:JYSK) declined 0.85% or 2.2 points to end at 256.4 and TDC A/S (CO:TDC) was down 0.79% or 0.27 points to 34.08.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 74 to 63 and 25 ended unchanged.
Shares in Genmab (CO:GEN) rose to all time highs; up 0.20% or 2.0 to 1000.0.
Crude oil for June delivery was up 2.96% or 1.32 to $45.98 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in July rose 3.58% or 1.63 to hit $47.15 a barrel, while the June Gold contract rose 0.57% or 7.15 to trade at $1271.95 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.50% to 6.5101, while EUR/DKK rose 0.00% to 7.4409.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.48% at 93.77.
