Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the Industrials, Financials and Chemicals sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 declined 0.30%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Novo Nordisk A/S B (CO:NOVOb), which rose 0.64% or 2.4 points to trade at 374.7 at the close. Meanwhile, Pandora A/S (CO:PNDORA) added 0.62% or 6.0 points to end at 979.5 and Genmab (CO:GEN) was unchanged 0.00% or 0.0 points to 1233.0 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were A.P. Moller - Maersk B (CO:MAERSKb), which fell 3.45% or 310 points to trade at 8675 at the close. A.P. Moller - Maersk A (CO:MAERSKa) declined 3.19% or 275 points to end at 8335 and Novozymes A/S B (CO:NZYMb) was down 1.96% or 6.2 points to 310.1.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 113 to 34 and 18 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for July delivery was down 1.27% or 0.65 to $50.58 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in August fell 1.03% or 0.54 to hit $51.97 a barrel, while the August Gold contract rose 0.91% or 11.45 to trade at $1273.75 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.65% to 6.5692, while EUR/DKK fell 0.02% to 7.4349.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.46% at 94.02.
