Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Industrials, Consumer Services and Technology sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 fell 0.24%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Carlsberg A/S B (CO:CARLb), which rose 1.32% or 8.0 points to trade at 615.0 at the close. Meanwhile, DSV (CO:DSV) added 1.23% or 4.0 points to end at 328.8 and TDC A/S (CO:TDC) was up 1.03% or 0.38 points to 37.25 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Novozymes A/S B (CO:NZYMb), which fell 4.66% or 11.8 points to trade at 241.4 at the close. AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CO:MAERSKb) declined 4.27% or 510 points to end at 11430 and AP Moeller - Maersk A/S A (CO:MAERSKa) was down 3.88% or 440 points to 10900.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 79 to 48 and 12 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for February delivery was down 1.91% or 1.00 to $51.48 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in March fell 1.84% or 1.02 to hit $54.45 a barrel, while the February Gold contract rose 0.00% or 0.05 to trade at $1212.95 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.28% to 6.9590, while EUR/DKK rose 0.01% to 7.4363.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.46% at 100.72.
