Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Chemicals, Healthcare and Real Estate sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 declined 0.13% to hit a new 6-months low.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Pandora A/S (CO:PNDORA), which rose 2.64% or 21.0 points to trade at 816.5 at the close. Meanwhile, Danske Bank A/S (CO:DANSKE) added 1.22% or 2.4 points to end at 199.3 and Nordea Bank AB (CO:NDA) was up 1.11% or 0.75 points to 68.15 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Novozymes A/S B (CO:NZYMb), which fell 1.77% or 5.2 points to trade at 287.9 at the close. Coloplast A/S (CO:COLOb) declined 1.16% or 5.7 points to end at 487.5 and William Demant Holding AS (CO:WDH) was down 1.10% or 1.5 points to 134.3.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 77 to 58 and 21 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for November delivery was down 1.34% or 0.68 to $50.11 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in December fell 1.09% or 0.57 to hit $51.84 a barrel, while the December Gold contract fell 0.13% or 1.65 to trade at $1254.25 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.25% to 6.7467, while EUR/DKK fell 0.01% to 7.4386.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.15% at 97.87.
