Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the Consumer Goods, Personal & Household Goods and Chemicals sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 lost 0.10%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were FLSmidth & Co. (CO:FLS), which rose 2.91% or 7.5 points to trade at 265.0 at the close. Meanwhile, A.P. Moller - Maersk B (CO:MAERSKb) added 1.07% or 110 points to end at 10360 and ISS A/S (CO:ISS) was up 0.81% or 2.20 points to 272.20 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Lundbeck A/S (CO:LUN), which fell 1.42% or 3.2 points to trade at 222.9 at the close. William Demant Holding AS (CO:WDH) declined 1.22% or 1.6 points to end at 129.8 and Chr. Hansen Holding A/S (CO:CHRH) was down 1.19% or 4.6 points to 381.2.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 73 to 67 and 27 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for December delivery was down 2.08% or 1.06 to $49.79 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in December fell 2.09% or 1.08 to hit $50.70 a barrel, while the December Gold contract fell 0.34% or 4.35 to trade at $1263.35 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.01% to 6.8361, while EUR/DKK fell 0.00% to 7.4384.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.15% at 98.77.
