Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Healthcare, Software & Computer Services and Technology sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 fell 0.03%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Pandora A/S (CO:PNDORA), which rose 2.53% or 21.5 points to trade at 870.0 at the close. Meanwhile, A.P. Moller - Maersk A (CO:MAERSKa) added 1.73% or 150 points to end at 8825 and A.P. Moller - Maersk B (CO:MAERSKb) was up 1.52% or 135 points to 9000 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Carlsberg A/S B (CO:CARLb), which fell 3.19% or 19.5 points to trade at 592.5 at the close. Coloplast A/S (CO:COLOb) declined 2.10% or 10.7 points to end at 499.8 and Novo Nordisk B (CO:NOVOb) was down 0.58% or 2.2 points to 375.8.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 69 to 65 and 19 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for April delivery was up 4.10% or 1.49 to $37.83 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in May rose 3.12% or 1.21 to hit $39.95 a barrel, while the April Gold contract fell 0.10% or 1.20 to trade at $1229.80 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.29% to 6.7328, while EUR/DKK fell 0.01% to 7.4561.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.30% at 96.95.
