Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Healthcare, Personal & Household Goods and Financials sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 lost 1.19% to hit a new 1-month low.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Oersted AS (CSE:ORSTED), which rose 1.78% or 6.90 points to trade at 394.90 at the close. Meanwhile, Demant A/S (CSE:DEMANT) added 1.16% or 3.80 points to end at 331.80 and DSV Panalpina A/S (CSE:DSV) was up 0.83% or 9.50 points to 1,153.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Rockwool International B (CSE:ROCKb), which fell 2.72% or 64.00 points to trade at 2,286.00 at the close. Novozymes A/S B (CSE:NSISb) declined 2.68% or 10.40 points to end at 378.30 and Danske Bank A/S (CSE:DANSKE) was down 1.72% or 3.60 points to 205.10.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 82 to 58 and 15 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for May delivery was down 0.93% or 0.80 to $85.63 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in June fell 0.62% or 0.56 to hit $89.82 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract rose 0.57% or 13.35 to trade at $2,364.35 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was unchanged 0.06% to 6.87, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.01% to 7.46.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.02% at 103.92.
