Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the Personal & Household Goods, Oil & Gas and Consumer Goods sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 gained 2.17%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Pandora A/S (COP:PNDORA), which rose 4.58% or 35.0 points to trade at 799.0 at the close. Meanwhile, Vestas Wind Systems (COP:VWS) added 4.15% or 15.4 points to end at 386.3 and A.P. Moller - Maersk A (COP:MAERSKa) was up 2.85% or 320 points to 11540 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Coloplast A/S (COP:COLOb), which fell 0.78% or 3.8 points to trade at 486.2 at the close. Nordea Bank AB (COP:NDA) declined 0.30% or 0.25 points to end at 84.25 and Chr. Hansen Holding A/S (COP:CHRH) was down 0.21% or 0.8 points to 375.0.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 102 to 50 and 3 ended unchanged.
Shares in Pandora A/S (COP:PNDORA) rose to all time highs; rising 4.58% or 35.0 to 799.0.
Crude oil for September delivery was down 3.99% or 1.88 to $45.24 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in September fell 4.80% or 2.50 to hit $49.70 a barrel, while the December Gold contract fell 0.47% or 5.10 to trade at $1090.00 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.32% to 6.8153, while EUR/DKK fell 0.01% to 7.4619.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.29% at 97.60.
