Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the Healthcare, Chemicals and Financials sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 added 2.02%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were DSV (COP:DSV), which rose 3.45% or 8.3 points to trade at 249.0 at the close. Meanwhile, Chr. Hansen Holding A/S (COP:CHRH) added 3.16% or 11.2 points to end at 365.6 and Novo Nordisk B (COP:NOVOb) was up 2.88% or 10.6 points to 378.1 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were TDC A/S (COP:TDC), which fell 0.37% or 0.14 points to trade at 37.48 at the close. William Demant Holding (COP:WDH) declined 0.09% or 0.5 points to end at 561.5 and ISS A/S (COP:ISS) was up 0.04% or 0.10 points to 230.60.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 97 to 55 and 7 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for November delivery was up 2.87% or 1.29 to $46.31 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in November rose 1.93% or 0.92 to hit $48.38 a barrel, while the December Gold contract fell 0.45% or 5.10 to trade at $1132.70 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.81% to 6.6562, while EUR/DKK fell 0.01% to 7.4603.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.58% at 95.92.
