Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the Personal & Household Goods, Consumer Goods and Industrials sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 rose 1.80% to hit a new all time high.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Pandora A/S (COP:PNDORA), which rose 3.88% or 23.5 points to trade at 629.0 at the close. Meanwhile, Genmab (COP:GEN) added 3.20% or 16.5 points to end at 532.5 and A.P. Moller - Maersk B (COP:MAERSKb) was up 2.37% or 380 points to 16410 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Jyske Bank A/S (COP:JYSK), which rose 0.45% or 1.3 points to trade at 292.6 at the close. Vestas Wind Systems (COP:VWS) added 0.52% or 1.5 points to end at 290.2 and GN Store Nord (COP:GN) was up 0.71% or 1.1 points to 156.5.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 115 to 46 and 4 ended unchanged.
Shares in A.P. Moller - Maersk B (COP:MAERSKb) rose to 52-week highs; rising 2.37% or 380 to 16410.
Crude oil for May delivery was down 1.08% or 0.53 to $48.34 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in May fell 1.50% or 0.84 to hit $55.56 a barrel, while the June Gold contract fell 1.33% or 16.00 to trade at $1184.70 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.60% to 6.9007, while EUR/DKK rose 0.01% to 7.4693.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.66% at 98.26.
