Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Healthcare, Oil & Gas and Personal & Household Goods sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 rose 1.45% to hit a new 3-months high.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Tryg A/S (CO:TRYG), which rose 4.26% or 5.5 points to trade at 134.5 at the close. Meanwhile, Genmab (CO:GEN) added 2.81% or 23.5 points to end at 860.0 and Coloplast A/S (CO:COLOb) was up 2.44% or 13.5 points to 567.5 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were GN Store Nord (CO:GN), which fell 3.82% or 5.0 points to trade at 126.0 at the close. TDC A/S (CO:TDC) declined 1.48% or 0.54 points to end at 36.07 and Carlsberg A/S B (CO:CARLb) was down 0.34% or 2.0 points to 589.0.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 95 to 67 and 6 ended unchanged.
Shares in Genmab (CO:GEN) rose to all time highs; gaining 2.81% or 23.5 to 860.0.
Crude oil for January delivery was down 0.14% or 0.06 to $42.81 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in January fell 0.62% or 0.28 to hit $45.84 a barrel, while the December Gold contract fell 0.25% or 2.70 to trade at $1071.10 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.13% to 7.0190, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.00% to 7.4608.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.06% at 99.75.
