Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Friday, as gains in the Chemicals, Software & Computer Services and Technology sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 added 1.43%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were FLSmidth & Co. (CO:FLS), which rose 3.83% or 9.1 points to trade at 247.0 at the close. Meanwhile, GN Store Nord (CO:GN) added 2.66% or 3.2 points to end at 123.5 and TDC A/S (CO:TDC) was up 2.57% or 0.84 points to 33.49 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Pandora A/S (CO:PNDORA), which fell 0.39% or 3.5 points to trade at 903.5 at the close. Lundbeck A/S (CO:LUN) declined 0.24% or 0.6 points to end at 249.2 and Danske Bank A/S (CO:DANSKE) was up 0.11% or 0.2 points to 175.6.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 119 to 29 and 18 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for August delivery was down 0.27% or 0.13 to $48.20 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in September fell 0.26% or 0.13 to hit $49.58 a barrel, while the August Gold contract rose 1.35% or 17.85 to trade at $1338.45 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.26% to 6.6794, while EUR/DKK rose 0.05% to 7.4409.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.25% at 95.71.
