Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Personal & Household Goods, Consumer Goods and Financials sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 gained 1.32%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Pandora A/S (CO:PNDORA), which rose 7.30% or 60.0 points to trade at 881.5 at the close. Meanwhile, Danske Bank A/S (CO:DANSKE) added 2.32% or 4.7 points to end at 207.2 and Nordea Bank AB (CO:NDA) was up 1.89% or 1.30 points to 70.15 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were ISS A/S (CO:ISS), which fell 0.41% or 1.10 points to trade at 268.00 at the close. William Demant Holding AS (CO:WDH) declined 0.37% or 0.5 points to end at 133.0 and FLSmidth & Co. (CO:FLS) was down 0.35% or 0.9 points to 254.0.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 98 to 47 and 16 ended unchanged.
Shares in Danske Bank A/S (CO:DANSKE) rose to 52-week highs; up 2.32% or 4.7 to 207.2.
Crude oil for November delivery was up 0.14% or 0.07 to $50.01 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in December fell 0.19% or 0.10 to hit $51.42 a barrel, while the December Gold contract rose 0.58% or 7.35 to trade at $1263.95 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.10% to 6.7691, while EUR/DKK rose 0.02% to 7.4409.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.08% at 97.78.
