Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Friday, as gains in the Consumer Goods, Personal & Household Goods and Financials sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 added 1.04%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were FLSmidth & Co. (COP:FLS), which rose 8.82% or 23.9 points to trade at 294.8 at the close. Meanwhile, Nordea Bank AB (COP:NDA) added 3.31% or 2.75 points to end at 85.75 and Genmab (COP:GEN) was up 1.61% or 8.5 points to 537.0 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were TDC A/S (COP:TDC), which fell 0.51% or 0.25 points to trade at 49.22 at the close. William Demant Holding (COP:WDH) declined 0.46% or 2.5 points to end at 546.0 and GN Store Nord (COP:GN) was down 0.14% or 0.2 points to 138.4.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 110 to 51 and 3 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for June delivery was up 0.53% or 0.31 to $59.25 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in June fell 0.42% or 0.28 to hit $65.27 a barrel, while the June Gold contract rose 0.44% or 5.20 to trade at $1187.40 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.30% to 6.6447, while EUR/DKK fell 0.01% to 7.4627.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.01% at 94.73.
