Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Industrials, Healthcare and Oil & Gas sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 added 0.97%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Novozymes B (COP:NZYMb), which rose 3.89% or 12.2 points to trade at 325.5 at the close. Meanwhile, FLSmidth & Co. (COP:FLS) added 2.46% or 8.2 points to end at 341.3 and A.P. Moller - Maersk A (COP:MAERSKa) was up 2.32% or 290 points to 12770 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Tryg A/S (COP:TRYG), which fell 0.98% or 1.4 points to trade at 141.4 at the close. COLOPLAST B (COP:COLOb) declined 0.68% or 3.5 points to end at 513.0 and Jyske Bank A/S (COP:JYSK) was down 0.39% or 1.3 points to 328.1.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 80 to 78 and 4 ended unchanged.
Shares in FLSmidth & Co. (COP:FLS) rose to 52-week highs; gaining 2.46% or 8.2 to 341.3.
Crude oil for July delivery was down 0.24% or 0.14 to $57.89 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in July fell 1.56% or 0.99 to hit $62.73 a barrel, while the August Gold contract fell 0.08% or 0.90 to trade at $1186.90 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.04% to 6.8519, while EUR/DKK rose 0.05% to 7.4561.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.14% at 97.52.
