Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Technology, Software & Computer Services and Healthcare sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 rose 0.78%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Genmab (CO:GEN), which rose 4.01% or 39.5 points to trade at 1025.0 at the close. Meanwhile, A.P. Moller - Maersk B (CO:MAERSKb) added 1.68% or 170 points to end at 10260 and A.P. Moller - Maersk A (CO:MAERSKa) was up 1.50% or 145 points to 9800 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Lundbeck A/S (CO:LUN), which fell 0.73% or 1.9 points to trade at 257.4 at the close. Nordea Bank AB (CO:NDA) declined 0.68% or 0.45 points to end at 65.45 and TDC A/S (CO:TDC) was down 0.67% or 0.25 points to 36.99.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 75 to 58 and 25 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for October delivery was down 2.66% or 1.23 to $45.06 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in November fell 2.17% or 1.05 to hit $47.27 a barrel, while the December Gold contract rose 0.11% or 1.45 to trade at $1327.05 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.00% to 6.6259, while EUR/DKK fell 0.01% to 7.4436.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.32% at 95.42.
