Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the Healthcare, Industrials and Chemicals sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 added 0.77%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Novo Nordisk B (COP:NOVOb), which rose 2.58% or 9.8 points to trade at 389.1 at the close. Meanwhile, A.P. Moller - Maersk B (COP:MAERSKb) added 1.22% or 160 points to end at 13260 and Tryg A/S (COP:TRYG) was up 0.66% or 0.9 points to 136.6 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Vestas Wind Systems (COP:VWS), which fell 4.84% or 16.8 points to trade at 330.0 at the close. GN Store Nord (COP:GN) declined 3.13% or 4.6 points to end at 142.2 and TDC A/S (COP:TDC) was down 2.38% or 1.21 points to 49.59.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 94 to 68 and 6 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for July delivery was down 1.24% or 0.75 to $59.55 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in July fell 1.61% or 1.05 to hit $64.50 a barrel, while the August Gold contract rose 0.16% or 1.90 to trade at $1191.70 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.71% to 6.8359, while EUR/DKK fell 0.01% to 7.4592.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.70% at 97.61.
