Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Industrials, Healthcare and Financials sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 rose 0.60%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were A.P. Moller - Maersk A (CO:MAERSKa), which rose 3.48% or 290 points to trade at 8630 at the close. Meanwhile, A.P. Moller - Maersk B (CO:MAERSKb) added 3.37% or 290 points to end at 8905 and FLSmidth & Co. (CO:FLS) was up 3.15% or 7.6 points to 248.9 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Pandora A/S (CO:PNDORA), which fell 1.18% or 11.5 points to trade at 960.0 at the close. Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CO:VWS) declined 1.07% or 4.8 points to end at 443.6 and Chr. Hansen Holding A/S (CO:CHRH) was down 0.02% or 0.1 points to 412.0.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 86 to 61 and 15 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for June delivery was up 0.98% or 0.47 to $48.19 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in July rose 0.61% or 0.30 to hit $49.27 a barrel, while the June Gold contract rose 0.22% or 2.80 to trade at $1277.00 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.11% to 6.5632, while EUR/DKK fell 0.01% to 7.4382.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.14% at 94.40.
