Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Healthcare, Industrials and Personal & Household Goods sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 added 0.56%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Genmab (CO:GEN), which rose 5.37% or 55.0 points to trade at 1080.0 at the close. Meanwhile, FLSmidth & Co. (CO:FLS) added 1.56% or 3.9 points to end at 253.8 and GN Store Nord (CO:GN) was up 1.17% or 1.7 points to 147.0 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were TDC A/S (CO:TDC), which fell 4.06% or 1.50 points to trade at 35.49 at the close. Nordea Bank AB (CO:NDA) declined 0.69% or 0.45 points to end at 65.00 and Jyske Bank A/S (CO:JYSK) was down 0.63% or 2.0 points to 314.0.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 71 to 67 and 19 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for October delivery was down 2.38% or 1.07 to $43.83 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in November fell 2.14% or 1.01 to hit $46.09 a barrel, while the December Gold contract rose 0.21% or 2.75 to trade at $1326.45 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.39% to 6.6094, while EUR/DKK fell 0.00% to 7.4443.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.28% at 95.27.
