Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Real Estate, Oil & Gas and Industrials sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 gained 0.52%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Novozymes B (CO:NZYMb), which rose 2.10% or 6.5 points to trade at 316.1 at the close. Meanwhile, William Demant Holding (CO:WDH) added 1.94% or 13.0 points to end at 681.5 and Coloplast A/S (CO:COLOb) was up 1.17% or 5.7 points to 494.7 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were FLSmidth & Co. (CO:FLS), which fell 2.89% or 7.7 points to trade at 258.4 at the close. ISS A/S (CO:ISS) declined 0.91% or 2.30 points to end at 250.80 and Jyske Bank A/S (CO:JYSK) was down 0.42% or 1.2 points to 281.6.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 98 to 46 and 16 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for June delivery was up 1.23% or 0.54 to $44.58 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in July rose 1.40% or 0.64 to hit $46.22 a barrel, while the June Gold contract rose 0.59% or 7.35 to trade at $1250.75 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.20% to 6.5743, while EUR/DKK rose 0.01% to 7.4430.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.06% at 94.39.
