Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the Chemicals, Technology and Software & Computer Services sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 gained 0.50% to hit a new 3-months high.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Genmab (CO:GEN), which rose 1.44% or 17.0 points to trade at 1194.0 at the close. Meanwhile, Novo Nordisk A/S B (CO:NOVOb) added 0.75% or 2.8 points to end at 373.8 and A.P. Moller - Maersk A (CO:MAERSKa) was up 0.67% or 55 points to 8295 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Chr. Hansen Holding A/S (CO:CHRH), which fell 0.73% or 3.1 points to trade at 420.0 at the close. William Demant Holding AS (CO:WDH) declined 0.63% or 0.9 points to end at 142.3 and Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CO:VWS) was down 0.21% or 1.0 points to 475.0.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 90 to 58 and 20 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for July delivery was up 0.59% or 0.29 to $49.62 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in August rose 0.72% or 0.36 to hit $50.31 a barrel, while the August Gold contract fell 0.76% or 9.20 to trade at $1207.50 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.22% to 6.6776, while EUR/DKK rose 0.01% to 7.4375.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.01% at 95.72.
