Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the Chemicals, Healthcare and Real Estate sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 added 0.48%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Coloplast A/S (CO:COLOb), which rose 1.71% or 8.3 points to trade at 493.3 at the close. Meanwhile, A.P. Moller - Maersk A (CO:MAERSKa) added 1.59% or 130 points to end at 8305 and A.P. Moller - Maersk B (CO:MAERSKb) was up 1.42% or 120 points to 8600 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were GN Store Nord (CO:GN), which fell 1.96% or 2.7 points to trade at 134.9 at the close. Nordea Bank AB (CO:NDA) declined 1.25% or 0.80 points to end at 63.15 and DSV (CO:DSV) was down 0.73% or 2.2 points to 298.0.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 80 to 69 and 16 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for July delivery was up 1.81% or 0.88 to $49.50 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in August rose 1.47% or 0.73 to hit $50.37 a barrel, while the August Gold contract rose 0.33% or 4.10 to trade at $1247.00 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.07% to 6.5412, while EUR/DKK fell 0.05% to 7.4374.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.01% at 93.91.
