Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Thursday, as gains in the Industrials, Chemicals and Healthcare sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 gained 0.39%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were DSV (CO:DSV), which rose 2.77% or 9.1 points to trade at 337.7 at the close. Meanwhile, A.P. Moller - Maersk A (CO:MAERSKa) added 1.77% or 170 points to end at 9750 and A.P. Moller - Maersk B (CO:MAERSKb) was up 1.60% or 160 points to 10180 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were TDC A/S (CO:TDC), which fell 2.19% or 0.83 points to trade at 37.02 at the close. William Demant Holding AS (CO:WDH) declined 1.64% or 2.2 points to end at 131.8 and Pandora A/S (CO:PNDORA) was down 0.78% or 7.0 points to 896.0.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 85 to 51 and 24 ended unchanged.
Shares in DSV (CO:DSV) rose to all time highs; gaining 2.77% or 9.1 to 337.7.
Crude oil for December delivery was down 1.79% or 0.93 to $50.89 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in December fell 2.05% or 1.08 to hit $51.59 a barrel, while the December Gold contract fell 0.26% or 3.25 to trade at $1266.65 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.36% to 6.8054, while EUR/DKK fell 0.01% to 7.4405.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.41% at 98.27.
