Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Consumer Goods, Personal & Household Goods and Industrials sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 rose 0.34%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Carlsberg A/S B (COP:CARLb), which rose 4.73% or 23.3 points to trade at 515.5 at the close. Meanwhile, FLSmidth & Co. (COP:FLS) added 3.00% or 7.0 points to end at 240.7 and Pandora A/S (COP:PNDORA) was up 2.42% or 18.5 points to 784.5 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were TDC A/S (COP:TDC), which fell 3.26% or 1.24 points to trade at 36.78 at the close. Genmab (COP:GEN) declined 1.16% or 7.5 points to end at 637.5 and Novozymes B (COP:NZYMb) was down 0.72% or 2.1 points to 289.8.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 81 to 73 and 4 ended unchanged.
Shares in TDC A/S (COP:TDC) fell to 5-year lows; down 3.26% or 1.24 to 36.78.
Crude oil for October delivery was up 5.90% or 2.63 to $47.22 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in November rose 4.35% or 2.08 to hit $49.83 a barrel, while the December Gold contract rose 1.87% or 20.60 to trade at $1123.20 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.40% to 6.5943, while EUR/DKK fell 0.00% to 7.4614.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.44% at 95.34.
