Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Chemicals, Software & Computer Services and Technology sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 added 0.26% to hit a new 52-week high.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Dong Energy A/S (CO:DENERG), which rose 2.20% or 6.50 points to trade at 301.60 at the close. Meanwhile, DSV (CO:DSV) added 1.19% or 4.8 points to end at 408.5 and Nets A/S (CO:NETS) was up 1.15% or 1.40 points to 123.20 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Genmab (CO:GEN), which fell 0.70% or 10.0 points to trade at 1413.0 at the close. Pandora A/S (CO:PNDORA) declined 0.68% or 4.5 points to end at 657.0 and Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CO:VWS) was down 0.65% or 4.0 points to 611.5.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 58 to 57 and 18 ended unchanged.
Shares in Dong Energy A/S (CO:DENERG) rose to all time highs; up 2.20% or 6.50 to 301.60. Shares in DSV (CO:DSV) rose to all time highs; rising 1.19% or 4.8 to 408.5.
Crude oil for July delivery was down 3.66% or 1.70 to $44.76 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in August fell 3.59% or 1.75 to hit $46.97 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 0.75% or 9.47 to trade at $1278.07 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.57% to 6.5949, while EUR/DKK rose 0.01% to 7.4364.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.55% at 96.44.
