Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Personal & Household Goods, Consumer Goods and Oil & Gas sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 added 0.26%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Genmab (CO:GEN), which rose 2.28% or 25.0 points to trade at 1123.0 at the close. Meanwhile, Pandora A/S (CO:PNDORA) added 2.04% or 16.5 points to end at 823.5 and Carlsberg A/S B (CO:CARLb) was up 1.63% or 10.0 points to 623.5 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were A.P. Moller - Maersk A (CO:MAERSKa), which fell 1.60% or 155 points to trade at 9515 at the close. A.P. Moller - Maersk B (CO:MAERSKb) declined 1.19% or 120 points to end at 9950 and Jyske Bank A/S (CO:JYSK) was down 0.51% or 1.6 points to 309.6.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 64 to 62 and 30 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for November delivery was up 0.18% or 0.08 to $43.94 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in November fell 0.30% or 0.14 to hit $45.81 a barrel, while the December Gold contract rose 0.05% or 0.65 to trade at $1318.45 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.13% to 6.6752, while EUR/DKK rose 0.08% to 7.4554.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.09% at 95.88.
