Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Oil & Gas, Financials and Software & Computer Services sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 rose 0.26%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Vestas Wind Systems (COP:VWS), which rose 3.31% or 12.4 points to trade at 386.5 at the close. Meanwhile, Danske Bank A/S (COP:DANSKE) added 3.25% or 6.7 points to end at 213.0 and Jyske Bank A/S (COP:JYSK) was up 2.13% or 7.3 points to 349.6 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were A.P. Moller - Maersk B (COP:MAERSKb), which fell 2.43% or 300 points to trade at 12030 at the close. A.P. Moller - Maersk A (COP:MAERSKa) declined 2.25% or 270 points to end at 11740 and Nordea Bank AB (COP:NDA) was down 1.38% or 1.20 points to 85.75.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 78 to 78 and 2 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for September delivery was down 2.06% or 1.05 to $49.81 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in September fell 1.08% or 0.61 to hit $56.42 a barrel, while the August Gold contract fell 1.03% or 11.40 to trade at $1092.10 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.44% to 6.8541, while EUR/DKK fell 0.01% to 7.4617.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.45% at 97.85.
