Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Oil & Gas, Consumer Services and Real Estate sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 rose 0.14%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were TDC A/S (COP:TDC), which rose 2.94% or 1.46 points to trade at 51.15 at the close. Meanwhile, Jyske Bank A/S (COP:JYSK) added 2.87% or 9.4 points to end at 337.1 and Vestas Wind Systems (COP:VWS) was up 1.85% or 6.1 points to 336.2 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were GN Store Nord (COP:GN), which fell 1.06% or 1.5 points to trade at 140.1 at the close. Novo Nordisk B (COP:NOVOb) declined 0.55% or 2.1 points to end at 382.5 and Pandora A/S (COP:PNDORA) was down 0.29% or 2.0 points to 679.0.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 94 to 60 and 4 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for July delivery was down 1.96% or 1.20 to $60.06 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in July fell 2.08% or 1.36 to hit $64.12 a barrel, while the August Gold contract fell 0.56% or 6.70 to trade at $1187.70 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 1.03% to 6.6221, while EUR/DKK fell 0.02% to 7.4599.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.64% at 95.39.
