Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Chemicals, Software & Computer Services and Technology sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 rose 0.01%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were TDC A/S (CO:TDC), which rose 2.68% or 1.04 points to trade at 39.78 at the close. Meanwhile, Genmab (CO:GEN) added 2.58% or 29.0 points to end at 1152.0 and GN Store Nord (CO:GN) was up 1.27% or 1.9 points to 151.9 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Pandora A/S (CO:PNDORA), which fell 1.40% or 11.5 points to trade at 812.0 at the close. Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CO:VWS) declined 0.99% or 5.5 points to end at 551.5 and William Demant Holding AS (CO:WDH) was down 0.72% or 1.0 points to 138.8.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 79 to 75 and 11 ended unchanged.
Shares in TDC A/S (CO:TDC) rose to 52-week highs; rising 2.68% or 1.04 to 39.78. Shares in GN Store Nord (CO:GN) rose to 52-week highs; up 1.27% or 1.9 to 151.9.
Crude oil for November delivery was up 2.34% or 1.03 to $45.08 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in November rose 1.77% or 0.81 to hit $46.69 a barrel, while the December Gold contract rose 0.90% or 11.85 to trade at $1330.05 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.08% to 6.6804, while EUR/DKK rose 0.01% to 7.4554.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.20% at 95.78.
