Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Friday, as gains in the Chemicals, Software & Computer Services and Technology sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 rose 1.29%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were ISS A/S (CSE:ISS), which rose 2.40% or 3.75 points to trade at 160.30 at the close. Meanwhile, FLSmidth & Co. (CSE:FLS) added 2.28% or 5.9 points to end at 265.2 and Pandora A/S (CSE:PNDORA) was up 1.92% or 5.1 points to 271.0 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Chr. Hansen Holding A/S (CSE:CHRH), which fell 0.69% or 4.0 points to trade at 573.4 at the close. Jyske Bank A/S (CSE:JYSK) declined 0.43% or 0.9 points to end at 209.5 and Danske Bank A/S (CSE:DANSKE) was down 0.28% or 0.3 points to 91.8.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 90 to 37 and 16 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for November delivery was down 0.27% or 0.14 to $52.31 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in December rose 0.26% or 0.15 to hit $57.86 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.18% or 2.70 to trade at $1511.10 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.11% to 6.8015, while EUR/DKK rose 0.04% to 7.4683.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.02% at 98.523.
