Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Chemicals, Oil & Gas and Consumer Services sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 rose 0.13% to hit a new all time high.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CO:VWS), which rose 1.60% or 9.0 points to trade at 572.5 at the close. Meanwhile, ISS A/S (CO:ISS) added 1.33% or 3.60 points to end at 274.00 and Novozymes A/S B (CO:NZYMb) was up 1.19% or 4.2 points to 357.0 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Genmab (CO:GEN), which fell 2.25% or 29.0 points to trade at 1261.0 at the close. Lundbeck A/S (CO:LUN) declined 2.24% or 8.5 points to end at 371.1 and TDC A/S (CO:TDC) was down 1.11% or 0.42 points to 37.35.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 64 to 56 and 21 ended unchanged.
Shares in Novozymes A/S B (CO:NZYMb) rose to 52-week highs; up 1.19% or 4.2 to 357.0.
Crude oil for December delivery was down 0.09% or 0.05 to $54.33 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in January fell 0.51% or 0.31 to hit $60.63 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.50% or 6.36 to trade at $1276.86 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.16% to 6.4005, while EUR/DKK rose 0.01% to 7.4423.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.16% at 94.60.
