Investing.com – Colombia stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Investment, Financials and Public Services sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP declined 0.52% to hit a new 1-month low.
The best performers of the session on the COLCAP were Avianca Holdings Pf (CN:AVT_p), which rose 0.60% or 20.0 points to trade at 3370.0 at the close. Meanwhile, Pacific Rubiales Energy Corp (CN:PRU) added 0.53% or 60.0 points to end at 11300.0 and Cemex Latam Holdings SA (CN:CLH) was up 0.48% or 60.0 points to 12580.0 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Canacol Energy Ltd (CN:CNE), which fell 2.40% or 130.0 points to trade at 5280.0 at the close. Almacenes Exito SA (CN:IMI) declined 2.22% or 500.0 points to end at 22000.0 and Bolsa De Valores De Colombia (CN:BVC) was down 1.75% or 0.3 points to 16.8.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Colombia Stock Exchange by 23 to 7 and 1 ended unchanged.

US coffee C for September delivery was down 0.76% or 0.95 to $124.40 . Elsewhere in commodities trading, US cocoa for delivery in September fell 0.55% or 18.00 to hit $3253.00 , while the August Gold contract fell 0.75% or 8.80 to trade at $1157.80 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was up 0.79% to 2693.50, while BRL/COP fell 0.74% to 845.74.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.46% at 96.88.
