Investing.com – Colombia stocks were lower after the close on Friday, as losses in the Investment, Industrials and Public Services sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP fell 0.45%.
The best performers of the session on the COLCAP were Canacol Energy Ltd (CN:CNE), which rose 2.22% or 220.0 points to trade at 10140.0 at the close. Meanwhile, Interconexion Electrica SA (CN:ISA) added 1.22% or 120.0 points to end at 9940.0 and Cemex Latam Holdings SA (CN:CLH) was up 0.53% or 60.0 points to 11460.0 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Pfgrupoarg (CN:ARG_p), which fell 3.05% or 560.0 points to trade at 17780.0 at the close. Grupo Argos SA (CN:ARG) declined 2.19% or 420.0 points to end at 18720.0 and Cementos Argos Pf (CN:CCB_p) was down 1.82% or 200.0 points to 10800.0.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Colombia Stock Exchange by 16 to 9 and 7 ended unchanged.
US coffee C for December delivery was up 1.55% or 2.37 to $155.12 . Elsewhere in commodities trading, US cocoa for delivery in December rose 0.70% or 19.00 to hit $2717.50 , while the December Gold contract fell 0.38% or 4.75 to trade at $1252.85 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was up 0.08% to 2921.72, while BRL/COP fell 0.71% to 912.01.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.57% at 98.09.
