Investing.com – Colombia stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the Industrials, Investment and Financials sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP fell 0.26%.
The best performers of the session on the COLCAP were Cemex Latam Holdings SA (CN:CLH), which rose 1.35% or 180.0 points to trade at 13500.0 at the close. Meanwhile, Banco De Bogota SA (CN:BBO) added 0.79% or 480.0 points to end at 61000.0 and Empresa De Energia De Bogota (CN:EEB) was up 0.54% or 10.0 points to 1860.0 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Canacol Energy Ltd (CN:CNE), which fell 3.05% or 300.0 points to trade at 9550.0 at the close. Ecopetrol SA (CN:ECO) declined 2.27% or 30.0 points to end at 1290.0 and Corp Financiera Colombiana SA (CN:CFV) was down 2.00% or 780.0 points to 38180.0.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Colombia Stock Exchange by 13 to 10 and 10 ended unchanged.
US coffee C for December delivery was up 2.96% or 4.35 to $151.12 . Elsewhere in commodities trading, US cocoa for delivery in December fell 0.81% or 23.50 to hit $2881.50 , while the December Gold contract rose 0.42% or 5.55 to trade at $1316.95 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was down 0.16% to 2938.40, while BRL/COP fell 0.89% to 904.07.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.40% at 95.63.
