Investing.com – Colombia stocks were higher after the close on Friday, as gains in the Industrials, Investment and Public Services sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP gained 0.85%.
The best performers of the session on the COLCAP were Pacific Rubiales Energy Corp (CN:PRU), which rose 7.08% or 680.0 points to trade at 10280.0 at the close. Meanwhile, Canacol Energy Ltd (CN:CNE) added 4.42% or 240.0 points to end at 5670.0 and Banco De Bogota SA (CN:BBO) was up 3.47% or 1920.0 points to 57180.0 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Avianca Holdings Pf (CN:AVT_p), which fell 1.75% or 40.0 points to trade at 2250.0 at the close. Bolsa De Valores De Colombia (CN:BVC) declined 1.24% or 0.2 points to end at 15.9 and Interconexion Electrica SA (CN:ISA) was down 1.12% or 70.0 points to 6160.0.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Colombia Stock Exchange by 20 to 9.
Shares in Avianca Holdings Pf (CN:AVT_p) fell to all time lows; down 1.75% or 40.0 to 2250.0.
US coffee C for December delivery was up 0.16% or 0.20 to $124.17 . Elsewhere in commodities trading, US cocoa for delivery in December fell 1.30% or 40.50 to hit $3074.00 , while the December Gold contract rose 1.05% or 11.80 to trade at $1134.40 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was down 3.03% to 3163.10, while BRL/COP fell 3.91% to 882.22.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.37% at 96.10.
