MTU Aero shares are down 10.76% from the beginning of the year, still down 13.90% from its 52 week high of €224.90 set on June 18, 2021. They are broadly in line with the DAX which is down 11.25% from the start of the year.

MTU Aero's report follows an earnings missed by Kion Group AG on Thursday, who reported EPS of €0.61 on revenue of €2.73B, compared to forecasts EPS of €0.8772 on revenue of €2.64B.
Befesa had missed expectations on Tuesday with first quarter EPS of €0.67 on revenue of €261.4M, compared to forecast for EPS of €0.77 on revenue of €285.09M.
