(Reuters) - EBay Inc's StubHub said on Monday that it had won a deal to resell tickets for the New York Yankees, starting from July 7.
StubHub will replace Ticketmaster, which currently runs the ticket-resale business for the baseball team.
The parties have entered in to a deal for six-and-a-half years, a source familiar with the matter told Reuters.
The Yankees and StubHub did not disclose financial terms of the deal.
Bloomberg, which first reported the news, said the deal was valued at $100 million.
Under the deal, StubHub will be able to advertise inside the Yankees stadium, the parties said.
