(Reuters) - U.S. President Joe Biden said in an interview released on Tuesday that he did not think there would be a recession, but that if it happened it would only be "very slight."

"I don’t think there will be a recession," he told CNN.

"If it is, it’ll be a very slight recession. That is, we’ll move down slightly."

Just the tip
that there folks is a Democrat
who? someone who's not afraid of absolutely everything?
With rate the Fed us going at we will see a full destabilization of financial markets. Maybe theyre engineering another crash? Hard to say at this point.
For me, Joe Biden is the best president ever. A few months ago I cashed out all stocks and now I'm waiting for the bottom to buyback. As soon as he was elected I knew his policies would crater our economy and cause the stock market to plummet. This is a once in a lifetime opportunity and I'm in a position to take full advantage of it. Thanks again Mr. President.
If any, it because of Trump, haha
Worst president in history!  The Dems are going to pay for there devious ways!
Poor grandpa
I doubt he understands any of this.
If there is a recession, it will be "very slight,".  That's because you and Powell have changed the definition of recession.  God damn GDP has been contracting for 2 consecutive quarters already.  We are technically in a recession now.  You forgot to take your medicine or something?  Geez!
stock market is not the economy that is for sure. market thinks it is 2008 all over again
Policies put of the admin make it actually worse. 2008 was nothing and fixed quickly by Paulson. The ensuing years of poor policy by Obama was what put in the damage.
i found an absolute ape
I don't think anybody take this administration seriously anymore. Its a complete joke unfortunately America is falling apart because of it. Time to wake up.
recession is good than inflation
