It was an ugly day on Wall Street on Thursday, and a lot of stocks were down, but a lot of stocks were moving up and traded nicely. We also had a good day trading some stocks on the short side.
eHi Car Services Limited (NYSE:EHIC), with a base breakout, spiked from a tight wedge, and then on Thursday it exploded 2.35 to 18.14, or 15%, on 1.2 million shares. This stock may still have some room to go. I prefer to see a pullback consolidation, perhaps a little higher. The target is around 20, and then we’ll see what happens.
Juno Therapeutic (NASDAQ:JUNO) is doing great to say the least. It had an explosive move, a pullback, a long run up, another pullback, and then on Thursday it makes another move, a very explosive move, up 6.78 to 64.00, or 12%, on 2.7 million shares. It’s now challenging its post-IPO highs at 66. If it gets through that, look for it to run up to 70 next.
500.com Limited (NYSE:WBAI) is still moving higher, up 1.00 to 23.00, or 4.5%, on 1.2 million shares on Thursday. After taking out the wedge patterns with a spike and then consolidating, it spiked again, formed a falling wedge, and is up again. The targets are 27 and 30.
Xunlei Ltd. (NASDAQ:XNET) had a good day on Thursday, up 39 cents to 11.22, or 3.6%, on 836,900 shares traded. It spiked up, pulled back, held support, and now it’s coming on again. Notice the very narrow, 5-day consolidation, which is followed by a 2-day move. Look for a test of 12-12.15, and when it gets through that, the target is in the 14-15 zone.
