Inflation concerns peaked last year when agriculture and oil prices peaked.

This year has seen inflation fears subside as key price inputs fall. BUT investors should not be complacent. Inflation risks remain.

Today, we look at a quarterly chart of Crude oil to underscore the “behind the scenes” inflation battle.

Crude Oil Quarterly Chart

As you can see, Crude oil tested a 15-year lateral resistance level (combined with channel resistance) and has been on the decline since.

But it is currently testing its up-trend price support level at (1). And, in my humble opinion, future inflation reports will most likely be impacted by what happens at (1).

If support continues to hold, inflation will likely remain stubbornly high. Stay tuned!!

I believe crude oil will continue to rise in price as we have depleted our oil reserves and continue to ship oil to Ukraine and use more oil for Airlines and automobiles as the spring and summer months approach. We are building out our oil drilling and refining infrastructure in the Permian basin and newer companies develop more drilling rigs and refineries.
There is an effort to change the energy market that is ignoring any viable solution. Fossil fuels are the best source in all respects right now, even considering the environmental impact.
your right Brad but how low would you like to take it? The country doesn’t have the storage capacity to go full blown electric, so cutting our reins from fossil fuel in spite of ourselves will drive cost up on fossil fuels. We have homeless accross the globe, which i dont believe can afford electric cars or solar panels to get off the grid. We have idiots out there killing cows because they fart too much. If we dont watch it, this place we call home could become mayhem.
Deleted as in used to keep gas prices at bay.now it's at 40 year lows and has not been replenished.
