"Go with the flow" and "Let the trend be your friend" refers to trading a trend. A trend means the commodity or stock is making higher highs and higher lows..... . The Fundamental Analysis paid off when those who waited for the SA strike to end and bought in after the dust settled..... . "I am the rebel, l listen then go the other way" As I said, the market has a habit of proving the majority of investors wrong be they experts or not so I don't listen to anybody.. You may be surprised at the amount of experts who say buy gold but make no mention of the most important fundamental of the lot and that is it's rigged......... I'm Bruster the rooster. You can remember it that. way.... Those chickens you talked about, I hope I don't hear only of them say "any-cock-or-doodle-'ll-do as I just want to concentrate on my palladium investment for the time being. I'd rather get it right and crow about that.. .

Hi Jan. My "gut feelings" comment was not directed at you. It was investors in general. You may be surprised at the amount of people who do trade that way. Then if the market goes against them, they argue with it by holding what they bought which means they have made two mistakes..... . The most important rule in the book is: Let your profits run and cut your losses short but most do the opposite and instead of trading with a plan which can be, enter the market only on a buy signal (this is where TA come in) and trade with a trailing stop loss or better than a trailing stop loss is a sell signal because one can get whipsawed out of the market with a stop loss but the market doesn't always oblige with them.....continued......

Hi Buster. On July 22 I wrote that Pall would go down to 815-810. OK, not so much but it did drop from 885 to 845. Then I said it would go up to 900 in Aug, which it has surpassed. No, I don't just work on "GUT' feel but it also plays a roll. I read a Lot about Pall and what the influences are. I also appreciate your input and take note of it. I know that there are many with their own opinions, and I have never expected anyone to follow mine. 'Just do what the market tells you' & 'Just go with the flow" I have learnt could just go very much the other way, like what happened two days ago. Sorry, I am the rebel, l listen then go the other way. I just think that we should not follow each other, but rather learn from each other. Pall IS my best friend. Thanks for your support.
