Nice to see ECB and BoC make rate decisions before waiting for the FOMC to strike first. They are finally showing some independence.

I’m looking forward for some opinion of traders do you guys think fed will cut? Why is that, haven’t they said enough they don’t see the data yet? are markets really pushing for this or is it something sinister making us all buy at the top stocks everything because I don’t think the data supports fed cutting yet

We have a fella in here that was shouting for months that the Fed would be the first to cut and the ECB would hold out. Recently he was saying ECB would shock markets and NOT cut on June 6th. Then he changed it to they will cut, but it will be a huge mistake. He also says Fed will cut in July now. smh

Is it a credible fella? Thank you for response. Me myself I don’t think fed wil cut July, they might do it in September just to lift sentiment for political reasons perhaps but even then it’s gonna cost them, they have to hold the guns right now before its game over: the data doesn’t support inflation target hit let alone we reaching the data is saying inflation went up even.. how can markets respond so positively I’m guessing they are blowing this balloon up as hugely possible.. idk.. people are greedy is that it? Is it really greed? Is it the devil.. idk.. but I’m sticking what the fed say and there data isn’t surprisingly well fit for cuts.. what is your opinion though? Or is the ‘fella’ persona your opinion?

The fella he is referring to is Mane, and no he is not credible. If he was credible, his predictions would come true instead of being jokes. Fed cutting before ECB? ECB not cutting in June? Did any of those things come true?

Lets say fed cuts.. what will that do to inflation? 2 percent goal? Yes? Markets have it wrong for sure. We will see euro dollar parity next few months.. there will be NO rate cuts in this year.. I’m surprised markets still think otherwise really.. the economy is doing all too well and can hold this according to the (fed) people don’t understand last 2 weeks dump and pump in the Dow jones, they have no clue what’s gonna happen, so do i, but I trust the fed more than markets, they ain’t gonna cut yet

Honestly, what you are expressing is true. This day is once again a good example, altough I do belive that soon the table will turn. At the same time I do payattention for % of buyers and seller and somehow the price action is never alligned with this number, not to mention the fundamentals , which lead to me the your conclusion. But han what can be useful for us. Indicators - nope , gurus -nope.....

LOL....John , I suggest you draw a painting combining all : watches , coins , yellow lines , blue arrows , clocks .....after all it's of artistic value only. Why not exhibit all your theories in just one good painting ?
