I'm expecting to see 38550 today on the Dow in normal circumstances . However PPI figures are coming out at 13:30 UK time so I'll not be trading it depending how the market reacts to the news. Now at 38590

Personally, I don't think it's necessary. Most Benz, BMW, and VW cars sold in China are made in China. The only exception is Porsche, which is why its performance is declining at the moment. Currently, China has good relations with France and Germany, so it's unclear how they would target them.

I heard the EU has imposed extra duties on Chinese EVs, which I believe will hurt Germany. People need to realise that many German cars are now actually Chinese cars. Additionally, the US will attract more funding from the EU due to the difference in interest rates. More money going to the US means less for the EU.

In my view, it's a win-all situation for the US. If AI continues to rise, the EU will suffer as capital flows there. If AI crashes, the EU market will still decline along with it.

where is all this going to end? There is going to be a major event next 12 months cleaning 30% off the market. Probably its going to be the AI event when we see that the market is saturated when things will get nasty

its always a question of timing. My personal assumption is that the market could still be running strong into the US election. 2 things to monitor. If there are any signs that Trump could win the election the market will tank immediately. This time its different. In trumps first presidency market were running because of anticipations. Now markets know that if Trump regains power its going to be 4 years of chaos. Markets dont like unpredictable things so they are going to crash. 2nd szenario. Biden wins easily (what I assume - really US people cant be that stupid to elect Trump again). In this case markets are going to peak around christmas time with a big selloff into the new year

correct on all points, apart from the bit about americans, they really are quite stupid - i have a business over there ( a fund manager ) and the amount ofwell paid bankers, brokers etc etc who are voting for trump is probably a majority -
